Detroit Diesel Alternator

i'm working on a old hattaras from the late 70's or early 80's that has i believe 892 detroit diesels. the alternator might be a delco remy.anyway i'd like to find a wiring diagram for the alternator. it has a big regulator on the bulkhead, plus a 3 wire i assume relay, plus a amp meter on the bridge. this is way before my time but i would like to see how it,s wired for trouble shooting purposes.

thank you vey much for the information. i searched everywhere and found nothing. is there a site that you know of where i can few the book without buying it. i found a couple of places but that wanted me to accept there software and i'm always too scared to take the chance.
