I want to be able to connect to two 32amp recepticals on the shore to supply the boat with 230V at 63 amps.

Are there Y adapters for this?

Thanks

John
I don't think you can just purchase an adapter and be done. I posted this question a long time ago while trying to help another boat with this issue. There are a lot of marine electrical outfits in Palma, and I'm sure that they deal with this all the time. I'd check with one of them.

When we went to Europe, getting our electrical system prepared was pretty simple. We are a 120 Volt 30 Amp single phase boat and all of our AC powered devices (inverter/charger, air conditioner, water heater) would work at 50 Hz. I installed an isolation transformer that could be configured for 120V-120V or 230V -120V by the location of jumpers on a terminal strip.

Your situation is more complex and I wouldn't hazard a guess on how to address it without a lot more information. Simplest thing is to check with the guys that do this day in and day out.

Best of luck, and enjoy Palma!

You can’t join two 16A European feeds to be 32A.

Re: European power - 32A from two 16A outlets

USA 250V/50Amp is split phase power (two hots, one neutral, 180º out of phase) while 16A and 32A European power is single phase (One hot, one neutral).

Depending on exactly how the boat is wired running off EU shore power might be involved...

If you do not understand what all that means and why it is important, you need to hire someone who does.
