fisher panda genset

A friend asked me to check ther fisher panda genset, due to the oil light was flickering, when I checked the oil I found the dip stick was not seated, and oil had leaked out. I serviced to correct level and ran the unit to check for leaks, then shut down to recheck oil level. when I pulled out the dip stick I noticed pressure had build up in the oil pan.
the question is where is the pressure coming from, is it a possible broken piston ring. I do not know of any other way the oil pan/tank could build up pressure.

The best bet is to call or email the US Distributor of Fischer-Panda. Their Tech Guys have helped me a couple of times and always respond to email a timely manner.

Re: fisher panda genset

Yes, I did call Fisher Panda, their tech also told me to check the crankcase vent, which was suggested by Sailmonkey on a prev. post. IT turned out to be the problem, finding it was a bigger problem, it located under the valve cover. and is pressed in....
