four winds wind generator

Hello folks,

Picked up a four winds 2 wind generator several years ago. Put new bearings in and new brushes and it has worked like a dream ever since.

Alas my boat is Parked in La Paz I am in Canada working for the summer. I was going to replace the brushes but for got to retrieve one before I left.


Anyone know the size and maybe a place to get replacements. Heres hoping?

Nope. My boat is in Mexico. Bought brushes that were close then had a machine shop grind them down

Thanks for the update. I have two sets of brushes with mine. One has 673 stamped and the other has 6H3 stamped. I have no idea what the original spec was. 6H3 I have found is copper-graphite. Not sure what the 673 is.
