Gioco MC4 connectors

Any one with Gioco panels know what MC4 connectors they use?

On-line I see reports of problems with mixing brands and Rod at Marine How To says only Staubli are any good.

I highly doubt that there is only one brand of MC4 connector in the world that is any good. It would be bit like saying only one electrical plug socket manufacturer is any good.

I don't see any brand marking at all on my panels from giocosolutions/fly solartech and I've had two different models. Just IP67 and TUV marks. They work just fine (the connections).

You are probably right. I don't see a brand name on mine either.

I'm likely overthinking it but I've seen a couple of problems reported on this forum where the connector burnt out internally.
