Great service from Yandina

I have to thank publicly the folks at Yandina for going WAY above and beyond with their customer support!!!!

2002 or so I installed a West Marine branded 150 amp battery combiner. It was made by Yandina (yandina.com).

Here we are in 2016 and although the unit was still working, I had broken the case and had taped it up to try to keep it working. The tape job was at least 6-7 years ago. Note there was no case on part of it.... Only gaff tape (theater tape from years of concert touring).

I removed the engine for a rebuild a while ago and took out a bunch of stuff so I could paint the engine room.

They took the thing back and refurbished it and PAID the shipping back to me. A 15 year old marine electrical part. Good luck if it was balmar or xantrex.

Now if the above isn't proof that the product works, and the company is stand-up more than most in the yachting industry, I don't know what is.

West Marine doesn't carry the stuff any longer, but you can and should buy from them directly!!!!

thanks,

And back to your regularly scheduled program.

Re: Great service from Yandina

Along those same lines, 12 years ago when I bought my '75 Cal 34, I bought and installed a Yandina manufactured Combiner. It has sat their quietly separating then combining my batteries (during charging) for the entire time without a hitch. Excellent product!

Great products. I bought a 130A combiner from WM in 1998. Still going strong.
