Heart Freedom 2000 Inverter Issues

I have an older Heart Interface Freedom 2000 inverter which has been working fine but just started having issues with the transfer switch. The inverter function still works fine but when you plug in shorepower the transfer relay just clicks - and does not power the AC circuits or the battery charger. If I turn it off and on several times I can usually then get it to work. Anyone know if there are even parts still available for these and is it repairable?

Try a new shore power cord first . Just borrow your neighbors for a second and see if it is in your cord first. Saved me a ton of money.

Some times the circuit cards are not making good contact. Take the cover of and wiggle the cards to see if it will restart.

Re: Heart Freedom 2000 Inverter Issues

I had one of those inverters on my previous boat. The internal relay is the weak point. I sent mine back to the factory for a relay replacement when it was still under warranty, and I seem to remember it only took about two weeks.
