Honda 9.9 Charging issues

You have checked voltage at cruise RPM right?
This thing is really only a trickle charger, not much real charging is possible

Yes we had it checked at a marina on the Hudson with a multi meter. I will have to get it back on the boat and do another trial with the multi meter when the weather breaks. Thanks for your help.

Also the best prices I've found so far. When you run into carburetor issues, which you will, cleaning won't work so don't pay someone to do that. Just buy a new carb here. Easy to switch out & will fix the problem. Then use only non- ethanol gas with stabil & run it dry or drain the carb if you're not going to run it for more than a couple of days.
