If this is indeed an Ampair you might reconsider rebuilding it based on the costs. They typically have lousy output and if you really need a wind generator to provide power consider a replacement instead.

I think you might be right. It should be easy to varify when I get there they show ampair stamped in the facing on the gen.

Actually, I asked because I didn't recegnize it.

I also went to Texas last week to look at the boat and decided it was beyond what I wanted to repair. One good look and I ran.

Yeah, no matter how good the photos, it just dont show everything. Sometimes if you look to long, you say, yeah I can fix it, a little pant and epoxy, yeah just two months . I can do it. You were lucky to have ran before you were mesmerized.........
