Why you had a problem

Mark, you do realize that the reason that you had this electrical problem is that God was punishing you for that time you did not buy Nicole some ice cream, don't you?

Go your way and sin no more! Her ice cream would have been cheaper than a new solenoid!

My congratulations on your sucessful repair.

Great news, good idea about getting into the circuit, it's always good to know how everything on your boat works.

I agree about the location of the siphon break in relation to the relay and other electrics. Everytime you start or stop your engine the siphon break can spit a little raw water as it closes and opens the valve, not good to have sea water on your electrics.
