Interstate battery

Hi, I'm going to replace my house bank batteries (couple of group 27) and found at the local wallmart sells the deep cycle Interstate batteries, but I've never seen that brand before here in Costa Rica.
Do anyone have had good experience with this brand?? Can you recommend them??
The threads that I found on the forum weren't helpful enough....

Re: Interstate battery

i just spent some time researching them online and see no bad reviews..., i always consider the warranty when im battery shopping..and Wallmart is pretty good about their warranty...

Re: Interstate battery

I have had 4 Interstate Workaholic 6volt deep cycle batteries in my boat for the past 5.5 years and they seem to still be going strong. They are used as start and navigation electronics plus autopilot. They get a fare bit of use. You have to watch the fill level and if properly maintained, with a good charger, they will last a long time.

Thanks a lot for the replies, you hqve me convinced! there are only a few deep cycle battery options here. The other option is the one that PriceSmart sells (Eveready), but the same group 27 battery is only 70Ah, and the Interstate is 95Ah!! Good to know they are good, and according to the comments, they have quite a lifespan..
Regards, max
