That article was written almost 5 years ago, so I think we should have seen some progress by now. Especially with the staement at the end of the piece, "Both groups expect to combine the diodes and antennas into working prototypes within months." Chuck

I know Anchorage Guy but there dosnt seem to be any update or progress with the technology.
I did see one video interview quite a while ago with a company developing the technology and it seemed that they were having problems in converting the high frequency from the panel antennas to electricity.
It would be a great system for use on a boat.

Allow a skeptic who has seen this all before to comment:

That probably means it was just an investment scam. With all the enthusiasm about new technology and alternate power, A LOT of people have made lunatic claims and stolen a lot of money from greedy investors who know as much about technology, as they knew about flipping real estate last time they went bust.
