Yep!

$1800 is a STEAL for that with those hours if it's in decent condition. In my opinion, a no-brainer

Re: Kohler marine genset

I have 2 20kw Kohlers aboard my boat controlled by Kohlers DecisionMaker management system.

I would not pick Kohlers again just based on their bad support network.

I employed one of their dealers (RPM Diesel) in Fort Lauderdale to troubleshoot a paralleling issue I was having and the dealer had to give up because Kohler would not reply to their emails.

Also the DecisionMaker management system makes some questionable decisions. Each time a request a generator to start, both will start and then one will shut down. Each time I request to shut off the running generator, the other will start and run for a few minutes before shutting both down. This puts twice as many starts on (cold) generators as necessary.

Re: Kohler marine genset

I have two 20.5kw Kohlers and the only problem I have is that their support is worse than useless. I got a bill from one of their dealers in Florida stating they were unable to resolve my problem because Kohler would not answer their emails or phone calls. And this is how they treat their dealers.
I have just had the same treatment up here in Rhode island, I'm waiting 2 months to get a tech onboard.
