LED Wiring

I'm replacing the wiring, anchor and the deck/steaming light on a mast of about 35'. The mast is deck stepped so the wires will have a disconnect at the base. Is a 16 gauge wire adequate for these LED lights or do I need to use a 14 gauge wire?

TIA!

Re: LED Wiring

16 gauge will carry the current but 14 will be stronger physically for not much weight or cost. Either will work
