Lithium costs: comparison and sanity check?

Just installing our WTS 200Ah batteries, we have now four sets top balanced and we are now ready to bin the 15 year old Gel Cells.

I may have four sets for sale in St Martin French West Indies at $1350 each 12 volt battery including BMS and Cell Boards - cheaper than two Lifeline AGM 8D's which they will outperform in so many ways, not forgetting the space saving and some some 200 lbs of weight saving, for each 200Ah we install vis a vis 2x8D AGM's.

For sure we need the flat discharge curve of the LIFEPO4 cells BUT then we are going to be a heavy user, unlike the OP. Also we leave Highland Fling on the hard for six months during the hurricane season just another benefit of LIFEPO4, they will be quite happy to wait for us to return without any maintenance issues :-).
