I get no end of grief from friends and fellow marina bums in the Florida summers because I don't run my AC while at dock. My reasons are multifold, but primarily it makes it uncomfortable to go back and forth between the heat and cold. Without AC I acclimate and a few fans are just right. Personally I would not have installed the AC and would love the extra space the thing takes up. We bought this boat to cruise and the cabinet across from the head would be much better used to store extra sails. If not for the wife the darn thing would be for sale over in the classified section.
