Mastervolt Mass Combi Ultra AC switchover

Have a Mastervolt Mass Combi Ultra 24/3500-100 pair (Master & Slave).

When I switch over from Shore to Genset, my boat electrical system dies for 10 seconds before re-energizing.

I thought that when I was on shore power (Mains), and I turned on the genset, my Combi would automatically switch over to the Gen power virtually transparently to my boat's electrical system (it's set for genset preferent).

I thought that during the process of switchover, during the moment when the AC input disconnects, and the genset hasn't yet been connected, the Combi would invert momentarily so that my AC- & DC-out would not be noticeably affected.

Is my expectation correct? Right now, when I power up the genset, as the Combi is making the switch over to the new AC input, my whole electrical system dies for 10 seconds and then starts up again with the genset providing power. This doesn't seem correct.

Sounds like the inverter function is turned off. Or something Is not working. Before the inverter Likly made the power between switch overs.
