Mismatched solar panels and MPPT - for test only

I am upgrading from 200 W to 545W bifacial (about 700 watts total possible - though unlikely).



I have MPPT 20 and changing to Victron 100/50. Cabling was oversized so I can leave in place.


It's a complicated process to actually fit the new panel (mechanically).



I would like to swap the old MPPT with the new larger one while keeping the 200 W panels in place for now. Any downside to that stepped approach?

No issue at all running an over sized MPPT.
