As long as I was sure the panels didn't extend beyond the boat I'd be willing to consider it. In my case, I'm going to mount my 135W panels on top of the bimini, aft of the boom. If I need more power I'll certainly give the idea some thought.

And I agree, those panels are at a perfect theft height. Or hammer height.

Anyone know specifically which rail mounts that solar panel is attached with? I'm looking for 7/8" rail mounts that can easily be taken on and off.

Just google Marine Rail Mount and you will find lot of options.

West Marine and Defender Marine carry them

Those maybe custom rail mounts, because I have not found them either.
