Multiple charger conflict ?

Hi, Over the summer I installed solar panels and a mppt charge regulator when the boat was on a mooring (works great). For the winter I am at a marina with power hookup for hot water and electric heater but I did not turn on the electric battery charger. Will the 240v battery charger become the dominant charger if I turn it on? The solar charger is keeping the battery banks charged and running the refrigerator fine for FREE. The 240v is metered so I will pay for every amp hour.
How do you guys do this? If the other charger sees the current it may think that the battery bank is full and turn off (it may do that when my engine alternator is charging too !?!?). Is there a way to set the chargers (and alternator) that only one works at a time and does not cancel each other out?
Thanks,
Ross in COLD NY

Re: Multiple charger conflict ?

As far as they are all setted with the same phase-voltage is ok...but even if they are not syncronize, they are ok, for a PB battery not a big problem

Re: Multiple charger conflict ?

they will work together and all charge. if you have enough from solar leave the charger off and save the money.
