Negative amperage?
Installed new engine and alternator. Battery monitor gauges show one bank charging at a nominal amperage and the other discharging at the same rate. Anyone?

My guess is, Alt reading - is wired to to wrong side of the shunt.

Shunt wired in reverse. quick fix
