New Electrical System for Alberg 37

Hi All,

We have completely gutted the electrical system on our 1973 Alberg 37. Looking for recommendations on sources, preferably in the North East, for supplying a complete electrical system plan that we can install ourselves.

Any suggestions/recommendations will be appreciated !

I also completely replaced my Luders 33 electrical system, but I have not heard of a source that will create a plan for you to install.
You would have to list your components, plan the complete circuitry including the proper wire/cable size, shop around for what you need, then install yourself. Its not a difficult project but you have to understand what you are doing and pay attention to ABYC's guidelines.
Also you'll need 3 indispensable tools: a first-rate crimper, stripper, cutter, and "Boat Owners Illustrated Electrical Handbook" by Charley Wing.
As for the suppliers, I used Lawrence's Marine Products (also called Greg's Marine Wire Supply) but many others have been satisfied with GenuineDealz.com.
Best of luck with your project.
