When my AGM gels started to die I changed to Lipo4 cells. Built my own 13 volt pack from CALB cells. Could not be happier. Virtually no maintenance.
Will require a good adjustable battery charger that can have but does not need a high charge rate.
I charge with 500 watts solar and Honda 2200i.

Thats awesome. Im researching building my own batteries as well. Huge cost savings over off the shelf LifePO4. CALB is a top brand, from what Ive found.
