New Xantrex inverter/charger wont charge batteries

Sure could use some help…
I’ve got a new Xantrex XCPro Marine 3000. It is supposed to be charging 2- 300 ah Ampere Time Lifepo4 batteries in parallel. The Xantrex works great, does everything it is supposed to do, except charge the batteries.

I have been working on this for almost a month… I have gotten a new inverter/charger from Xantrex.. bench tested, and works great.. on the bench. When installed in my boat, it also bypasses charging the batteries.

I assumed it was the batteries, except the Xantrex does the same thing with my AGM starting batteries…

The Life4Po batteries, which have A BMS in each, do accept a charge from both a separate charger and the alternator. The settings are all correct, as confirmed by both Ampere Time and Xantrex.

So, looking at the entire system, the only thing I could find that was not up to specs was the AC wiring. It is supposed to be 6awg, but it is 10awg. I will upgrade that, but I wouldn’t think that is enough to cause the problem I am having.

Does anyone have any possible solutions? Thank you very much.

10awg is normal. Have a 30a breaker feeding it. What is measured voltage and freq at the inverter input connection?

Is there something else providing voltage to the batteries so the xantrex is not "feeling" the need to charge? The pro marine should have a transfer switch built in, but have you set the parameters in the xantrex for life PO4?
