Can someone recommend a Northern Lights parts supplier preferably in North America? This model is not made anymore and parts that can be found are really expensive.

It probably is a large model. On a 68 footer.

It is a M854B 15KW installed in 1984. Thanks for your interest.

The smaller output NL643-743 use Shibaura engines and are easy to get parts for but the 854B uses a different engine. AVR’s can be found online. It depends on what actual parts you need.

He said he is looking for a heat exchanger at this time but is struggling to find parts he can afford to keep the thing going. He's a retired guy with limited funds. I am hoping to find a source of used or refurbished parts in general. OEM are available but he's not a rich guy.

There are a number of companies specializing in after-market heat exchangers, usually at a fraction of the price of OEM stuff. Check out Lenco on the net.
