Old-school Fuel Gauge for SoC Coulomb/Ah-counting

Good reports from the world of DIY EV conversion

https://www.evworks.com.au/zeva-fuel...y-simple-instr

Outputs to any old automotive fuel gauge meter, as in what the wire from the gas tank plugs into, so cheap as chips.

Perfect for those who don't want precise numbers for what's really a guesstimate anyway, quick glance, easy for everyone to understand.

Uses a Hall type sensor for the Ah-counting, so more accurate than voltage anyway, also easy to install no cutting / crimping wires.

Have not yet delved into how it gets the 0/100% endpoints, probably gets a reset at the top.

For the same price you could get a victron. And have % and volts and amps. In a working commercial product.
