Photowatt solar panels

Has anyone ever heard of or had experience with photowatt panels? I have an opportunity to get some used 75 watt panels at a very good price. Anything in particular I should be aware of?

Re: Photowatt solar panels

I have a pair of older 75W multi-crystalline Photowatt panels.

They still work to spec. or close to it.

I have mine mounted on my stern rails. The frames are a bit on the light side.

They were very cheap when I bought them.

Cheers,
JM.

Re: Photowatt solar panels

Thank you. I think these ones are older as well (craigslist). But at 50$ per 75w, it seems hard to pass up

Re: Photowatt solar panels

You should be able to find brand new ones with warranty for well below $2/W.
