Proper outlets and boxes

I want to install an additional shore outlet in the forward berth for a TV I'll be installing. Are there specific types of outlets and boxes to use?

I was thinking a GFCI outlet with a regular 1 gang box which I can get locally. Is that incorrect in a boat?

Re: Proper outlets and boxes

No. You don't need a GFI outlet in the V-berth--just a plain duplex receptacle. Use the plastic box.
