Redarc Manager30

From a well-respected vendor in their very demanding Australian home market, obviously working to become a global player. https://www.redarc.com.au

BMS1230S2-NA
https://www.redarc.com.au/Content/Im...n%20Manual.pdf

"Ultimate battery management system for charging and maintaining your auxiliary batteries"

"Six tools in one, can charge from AC, DC, and solar inputs, and has a remote monitor so you can see your power levels."

30A max output

Claims an LFP-specific setpoint, as well as the usual FLA / GEL / AGM, and also one for "calcium" chemistry lead.

6 functions:

Here's a first:
mains 110V charger included

solar regulator
Sterling does not include, CTEK, Kisae, Renogy, do
IMO separate dedicated SCs are better

DCDC charger, 9-32V DC input)

battery isolator (VSR / ACR)
I believe both Renogy and Kisae missing that bit
Sterling DCDC only applies to its own inputs
two-way sensing?

load disconnect controller

remote battery monitor

"Monitors and calculates power usage so you always know how much power is remaining and where your power is coming from. User-friendly, graphic display for convenient power management"

Please don't call it "a BMS", too confusing. Also note without the S2, obsolete firmware version,

NA must be for 110V, but since going for around $1,200 USD, so why not one design with global shore power inputs?

presumably the 240V must be ordered from Oz directly

Actually made there, so not competing on price 8-) But likely very robust, high build quality, for marine and other tough conditions. 2-Year warranty

Deal-breaker for me: setpoints not user-custom adjustable, LFP profile set too high.
