Removing Generator through Small Hatch - Need Help !

I am needing to rebuild my Westerbeke 12.0 KW BTDC generator due to low compression. My shoe horn does not help in removing the beast thru the small hatch. I have removed most of the exhaust and other parts but I am having trouble with the armature. If I remove bolts #21, will it let me get to the flywheel and bolts #14 and 5? I just don't want to damage more than I have to in the rebuild process.

Does anybody have a good source for parts on upper and lower rebuild? Compression was 280-340. I have had the injectors and the injector pump rebuilt. Just the lower kit of all bearings, pistons, rings, gaskets, pins, and seals will run $2000. Have not quoted the upper yet. Parts Supply Corporation has giving me the best price so far.

I don't think you will need to remove bolts 5 or 14. I'm pretty sure 14 bolts the flywheel to the crankshaft and 21 bolts the assembly to the flywheel. It looks like that whole assembly should come out in one piece after removing 21.

Let us know how it goes.
