Setting battery bank capacity in Nasa BM-1

Hi!

I am connecting the battery monitor Nasa BM-1 to the battery bank.

After startup, one is supposed to enter the total available Amp hours of the battery bank. In my case 300 Ah. However, the batteries are a few years old. 275 Ah is probably closer to the truth?

What to do. Enter a lower total capacity Amp hours number, or try to never go below 60% rather than 50% (if batteries were brand new)?

Cheers

Because you understand the concept of aging batteries, you can do either. Or do nothing and do some math in your head.

Your boat, your choice.
