SH 2200 RAM Mic

I have a SH 2200 VHF w/ a hard wired RAM mic @ the helm. Great combo, love having 25 w signal topsides. However, appeared to get a short on the mic when I grabbed it & handed it to my wife - not an excessive stretch, but that cable is pretty stiff. Did not trip the breaker, but it looks like an inline fuse went. Bit of a project to get to it, has to wait until this weekend.

Anyone else have similar issues?
