Re: Should I buy these solar panels?

Does anyone have a link to salt-environment certified, either 29" or less narrow, or 43" or less wide, high efficiency, mono, rigid, framed, high wattage panels?

I have room for 3 narrow or two wide (which I realize isn't as wide as some) panels...

I'm trying to replace my 3 10-year-old 120/130W Kyoceras to achieve, at minimum, 600W. I have a 60A Blue Sky MPPT...

They'd have to be shippable to (or retrieved within, say, 100 miles of) Vero Beach FL

Re: Should I buy these solar panels?

Doing the simple Amazon search I think you may be stuck at 500watts for the existing area on the arch.

I have had a Renogy panel for a couple years, has held up well.

Or you could try these guys.

Re: Should I buy these solar panels?

I wonder what shipping from Canada would cost...

Hm. Inquiry sent via web interface...

I'd prefer rather more efficient, but...

Thanks for the link...

$230 for the two.

Meanwhile,

and

http://us.sunpower.com/sites/sunpowe...lar-panels.pdf

show salt qualified; this one is silent on the matter, which I take to mean it's not

http://us.sunpower.com/sites/sunpowe...-datasheet.pdf

Too bad, as 425W in the space I need would be dynamite.

Sunpower has followed up with me; they may not do anything as I'm not a certified installer, or even a business, but we'll see...

Re: Should I buy these solar panels?

Well, well.

They got back to me quickly. Sent me a PDF of the E20-435 panels. Will write back with a quote.

That would more than double my amps as currently installed.

Hope it's not bux per watt!!!
