simple galvanic isolator question.

I'm trying to get a simple 30 amp shorepower hookup. I find the enclosed directions confusing though I generally understand the concept of eliminating stray current. I have the 3 switch paneltronics breaker box. So I installed my Marinco inlet for the 125v and ran the marine grade 125v three wire bundle through the boat to where the breaker box is. I connected the GI #1 lead directly into 125v Marinco inlet and connected GI lead #2 to the Green (ground) . Question: Where do connect the other end of the Green ground wire in the bundle? To the ground bus on the breaker box? Directly to the Neg battery terminal? I want to get this right so I don't blow up my boat or destroy the power grid of the western United States.

The green wire of your 10/3 wire goes from. Inlet plug to gi to ac ground bus at ac panel.

You should also have a wire going from ac ground bus at panel to dc ground. Either battery or bus somewhere.

See diagram 3 on page 10

Re: simple galvanic isolator question.

The Galvanic Isolator would go between the incoming green ground wire on the boat and the AC ground and DC ground which should be already connected together. You can download the Galvanic Isolator installation instructions from
http://www.yandina.com/acrobats/GalvOwnManual.pdf
and you will see a schematic on the back of the sheet.

I actually have your Yandina GI. Do you have a schematic for *single* 30 amp installation?
