Simple question about an inline circuit breaker.

I need to install inline 50A breakers between my solar controllers and my battery bank. Do I put it on the positive or negative lines?

Thanks

Re: Simple question about an inline circuit breaker.

Always on the positive. Some would recommend a double pole breaker for lightning protection but I never bothered.
