Solar Panel Options

So does anyone have any recommendations on good quality high output solar panels that are over 120 watts that are between 20 and 22 inches wide? I have been looking for some options but the only ones I have found so far are the Solara 160 Ultra S watt panels which are 22 by 59 inches. While these fit the size I am looking for to hang on my rails, they are a bit expensive at close to 1200 each once you figure in taxes, so I was looking to see if there were any alternatives, and while I do prefer rigid panels I will can can consider semi flexible.

There seems to be a large number of relatively cheap 100 watt solar panels that are that width, but as I am limited to space I can put solar I am looking for more efficient panels that produce more power, and they can't be wider than 22" and am not looking for the cheapest solution.

Also has anyone used the Solar Ultra S panels have any feedback on them?

???

20.9 in wide

I’m probably going to buy a 200 watts Renogy kit.

Re: Solar Panel Options

Not their new rigid panels, but our first panel was a 45w Solar semi rigid. Cost a fortune second hand back in 2008. That panel was screwed to the deck and never moved come rain or sunshine. It finally stopped working in 2017 perhaps 15 years old. The dog used to like it as it was a warm place to lie down.

Solara are the ones the ocean rowers use on those little 7m rowing boats. If their 160w rigid panels are anything like the semi rigid then really high quality and whilst very expensive likely to last. Only down side is if someone comes along side and one is damaged then there will be tears.

If the budget will stand it, then likely a good option.
