Dont forget the BMS and the electronics inside, they may drain your battery much quicker. Even lipo batteries in cameras have internal protection electronics and die of gross negligence by not being charged frequently.

Hence a complete disconnect switch on the pos lead between the battery and buss bar all disconnected .
Imo every boat should have one just in case.
