Solar Power on a Bristol 24

I posted a thread about this in the wrong forum and thought I should do one here.

I am an electrical contractor with experience in PV systems. I just purchased a 1969 B24 with a great 12v power system. I want to add one of the PV panels that I already have but am not sure of the best place to put it.

I want it to look good, be able to conceal the wiring and have nothing in the way.

I was considering mounting it on the outboard trunk or, maybe, hanging it off the stern.
Also, should I use strictly stainless or is aluminum ok for the mounting rack?

Any advice would be truly appreciated. The boat's coming out of the water soon and I want to have her updated before next season.

Thanks,
Dan
