Solenoid and 2-Pin Connector

I'm replacing the solenoid for my propane tanks/stove. It's a Fireboy Xintex Model SV-1. It connects two a two-in electrical connector, and the connector is corroded. Does anyone know what kind of two-pin connector replacement this requires? I've scoured the internet and can't find much information or where to buy. I bought a two-pin connector set online, but it doesn't fit. It appears the pins may be different sizes depending on the amps (?), and I can't find information on how many amps the Fireboy solenoid is. Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Solenoid and 2-Pin Connector

I would just cut the connector off both ends and use a butt splice. The connector isn't required it is a simple DC circuit. It is to make replacements easier but in this case it isn't.
