Stray current?

So buddy other side of finger has shore power cable running from outlet through (salt) water looped around fender in said water up to the shorepower recepticle in his boat.
Anything I should be concerned about?

Re: Stray current?

I’d move. SWAT might get the wrong boat.
Happy trails to you.

Re: Stray current?

This boats Capt. is responsible. The Marina has it”s responsibility you. They should have already spoken with to Capt. about his wiring. If you have met the Capt. You should have a Idea as to whom to approach🦅[emoji631]

Re: Stray current?

so if I understand it here

Some people here think that insulated wires, that are inside another insulated cable, that if the cable was hanginging in the water current would go across the 2 different insulation coverings, into the water and across to another boat, and cause a problem?

What do you people do when it rains of if a wire might be in the bilge?

Re: Stray current?

The wire maybe wrapped tight but not the other boat owner.
We don’t do marinas. Rats. Peepers. Bad dock wire. Kooky neighborhood.
CO fumes. Buy some solar and live like a manatee. Born naked. Live naked.
