Telemetry Web Application

On our tall ship youth sail training vessel, I use Victron equipment including a CCGX that posts data up to the Victron Cloud over a cellular modem. Victron provide a nice, advanced, web application for viewing this data. This has proved immeasurably valuable for monitoring and troubleshooting electrical performance.

But for a simpler view for other interested parties, I have put together a simple web application (http://yates.ca/brigantine/) that displays some of the basic current conditions, as well as 24 hour track of the ship.


Future plans include incorporating some Sensaphone telemetry such as house current and bilge alarms.

There are devices on the market that provide some turn key solutions like this. However, I found they were always too restrictive, and preferred a generic solution that could be tailored precisely to our needs.
