Time to Say 'Thank You'

In the past few months I've re-wired my electrical distribution system and installed a new genset. I also cleaned the fuel tanks that lived under the old one until I took it out.

I want to thank people in this learned forum for the help I got from it. From the discussions and the arguments, the differences of opinion, information etc.

I owe it in particular to a few of you:

SV Jedi thank you for taking the time not only to type the description of your setup, which I shamelessly plagiarized, but for guiding me with your comments and experience. The result is as you predicted.

Gord May, for your signature, invaluable, and all the info you made available here.

Downunder, for your help when I was researching this project, pointing me in the right direction.

Nigel Calder, who most likely will not see this but whose books are my main guidance in maintenance. Whenever I had to make a decission or learn something practical, I knew I could find the answer in your book.

I don't think it would be worth me writing about my systems as Nick did, because quite literally I copied it except for his auto-transformer which I don't need. Now it all seems to be working it is time to get used to it and make the best of it.

Thanks again.

'fraid not yet, it is all a bit hidden and out of the way. I'll see of borrowing a camera and taking a few pics of the engine room with the new genset and fuel system but not sure if they will come out well. The electrics are all hidden behind panels and the battery box is a battery box... If you give me a day or two I will try and describe it but it is basically like Nick's.

What do we know about your cat?
