Two pole main breaker w/third section for green

Digging around the main AC panel I noticed that the main two pole breaker had a third section with the green wire coming into the boat connected to one terminal and the other terminal going to the green wire bus bar.

Is that to sense current in the green wire? Seems like it was labelled 65 VDC.

Just curious,

Bob

ABYC permits no breaker in the green.

It will trip on reverse polarity. Between ground and neutral

Old boats had those. I’d rather have a warning light. Which is what every newer boat has.

If it’s wired green shore in and out to ground bus. Someone has changed it and made it wrong.

So it should be wired to the green and white? Didn't notice any markings on it but will take a close look next time.
