Using a pi for a display/controller for 3 Victron MPPT controllers

Hi there

I have 2 bluesolar 75/15 controllers and a smartsolar 100/20. Victron is really good at supporting 3rd party open source products, and it seems possible to use a raspberry pi, the venus O/S, an LCD screen and some VE.Direct -> USB cables to create a display that shows the input/output of each of the three controllers at the same time.

Has anyone successfully done this? Any stumbling blocks I should know about?

I have one controller and setup a pi with screen to view the Venus software. Works fine and was cheap to build. Not sure how viewing the three at once would work.

You can also connect to the pi over WiFi and see the same results. I tend to do that more than using the screen anymore.

What screen did you use? I'm trying to figure out if there is a minimum resolution that needs to be used
