VICTRON ORION XS WITH PRONAUTIC 1240P

I currently have a ProNautic 1240P connected to my FLA start battery and FLA house bank for shore power charging and the stock 115A alternator with internal regulation connected to the start battery only. I plan to install a Victron Orion XS to charge the house bank from the start battery. I believe the Orion will only operate when the start battery is receiving a charge which I would assume includes from the ProNautic. If this is true, should I disconnect the Pronautic from the house bank? I would think that I wouldn't want the house bank to receive a charge from both sources at once when connected to shore power as it is most days when not sailing.

I believe this will future-proof my setup should I want to switch the house bank to LIPO4.
