Victron Smartsolar charger Pair issue

I just did a firmware update on my Victron Smartsolar charge controller 100-30 bluetooth and it will not pair with my phone. It did before I did the update. I tried everything like disconnecting the panels and battery bank, deleting and re-installing the app, entering the 000000 pin code, but it keeps asking for the pair code on the Smartsolar charge controller. I even tried to change the 000000 code by entering the PUK code listed on the charger and still wont pair.
It's less than a year old.

Any ideas?

Is the blue LED on the MPPT blinking? If so, the units Bluetooth is transmitting.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your smart phone and find the MPPT. Select "Forget this device". Go back to your home page then come back to Settings > Bluetooth. The MPPT should appear at the bottom of the list. Click on it. It should attempt to pair and ask for the PIN.

It gets to 80 % then asks for the code on the Smartsolar.

The blue led, I think its the Float light does blink.

I did delete the Smartsolar from my Bluetooth list on my I phone.
I'll try it again tomorrow.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but if you had left the code as 000000. Then someone, a smartass, may have connected and fiddled with your code.
Doing a manual reset and connect on the mppt unit will reset it and allow you to pair.

Are you using iOS or Android operating system?

If Android, is the hardware (phone) oldish or newish and is the OS up to date?

Victron products don't always play nice with older 'droids although most problems can be worked through by messing with the Bluetooth pairing aspects on the phone side of game.

I tried a few times today. I was able to see Smartsolar on my phone on the Bluetooth page. It said Connected. Whe I go to the Victron app I can see the Smartsolar with the bar graph that shows good connection. When I touch it toconnaect and show all the volts and amps from the panels it shows this after going to 80%.

I’d like to thank everyone for their help. I ended up deleting the app, disconnected the panels and the battery to the Smartsolar. Then I waited a few hours. Then started all over and it connected first try.
