Re: Warm white led lighting

i found that 1156 replacement bulbs work ar better than the allegedly marine fixtures i tried for so ridiculously much more money.
just because something says marine use does not mean it actually is worth anything.

Re: Warm white led lighting

Zeehag, my anchor light was an 1156 or similar base. I replaced it with a multi led bulb off of eBay with the same base. It's much brighter than the old bulb, and I've used it for probably 30 nights in the past 3 months, and it's working great. Power consumption is nil.

Re: Warm white led lighting

my anchor light used to be oil... couldnt find decent oil here, so i converted it to led, using an 1157.
used 1157 only because i bought the wrong ones.. i have brightest anchor light going in my area. you should see what a fresnel lens does with a bright led....lol...

autozone has 1156 and 1157 a lot cheaper than i found in marine stores..... same exact light bulb... go figger....
