Waterlily 12v Hydrogenerator

I came across this on the net. It is a tiny waterwheel that can be towed behind a boat (or placed in a stream).

Minimum Charge Speed
In Water: 0.28 m/s (1 kph) (0.62 mph)
In Wind: 3 m/s (10.8 kph) (6.7 mph)

Output and Connectors
Output: DC 14.6V
Up to 2A
Up to 30W
Connector: 2-Pin SAE
Charge Cord Length: 10 feet (3.05 meters)

Does it produce enough to be worthwhile?

At ~6 knots you get 1A charging current. Even the smallest solar panel will beat that and the solar panel would not cost USD200.

There is already in the Chinese market for far less , and you can put an 5 kw or.smaller electric motor on an outboard leg and have 5 to 8 amps on almost the same price plus an electric outboard if you like diy

Almost enough to charge your cell phone...

I am sure it has a market somewhere, but seems little more than a toy to the average cruising boat, unless you want to tow a string of 5, 6, or 10 of them. Of course for that price there are better solutions.
