Waterproofing semi-flexible solar panel junction box

I have a couple of semi-flexible panels on top of my dodger, in the past I've had similar models where water got into the junction box and corroded everything.

Can I just pour epoxy inside, or sealant?

The only drawback I can think of is that it may overheat the diode if it effects head rentention.

Has anyone else done this?

Excellent idea and good question. Is it possible to pour epoxy in, while leaving the diodes free?

Air is how insulation works. Convention is how the diodes cool. Looking at that space, there is very little convection going on.
I would suspect solid epoxy conduction would be superior heat transmission to small space convection.
Of course - you would need to test it.

Well I packed the box full of dielectric grease and it's stopped worked - get voltage but no current. Sigh. Guess I need to scrape it all out again
