? Weird 12v issue. Blige Pump

My bilge pump works on automatic mode. But I cannot get it work on manual mode via the dashboard switch. (Center Console power boat).
I ran brand new wiring from the switch panel. The problem was present before I ran wiring. I added brand new Deutsch Connectors.

If I directly connect the manual wire to a battery it turns on.

I tested the connection from the switch, and I get 12v coming out of the Deutsch Connector.

When I connect it to the pump I read 0v. ??? WTF? I took the pins out of the pump side of the connectors to test voltage on the bare pins once connected.

Common ground comes from the Deutsch Connector and again it completes the circuit, and functions on automatic mode.

The fuse does not seem to be popping, as I can disconnect the connector and read 12V.


what am I missing???

Sketch the circuit. B+ > line side of SPDT switch > 1 pole (auto) to line side of float switch, load side of float switch and the other pole (run/manual) from the SPDT switch to the pump B+, usually brown.
